Here’s a helpful guidelines. Splitting is when you double your chances to win/lose by splitting the cards when they are the same. Splitting should be used when you have aces and eights. This is a basic strategy guide but it also works. Many people assume that when you have face cards, such as jacks, queens and kings that you should split them up- this is not a good idea. Keep them together; you already have a good hand so don’t blow it by risking a three and a two on the next deal. And finally, never split on fours, fives or tens. It will not benefit you in the end.
